The normal opening hours are from 8am until 6pm Mondays to Saturdays and 9am to 6pm on Sundays and Public Holidays; however operations are permitted from 7am until 10pm. Helicopters are permitted to operate outside of these hours and Air Ambulance and Medical flights by aeroplanes are also permitted outside of these hours. No flying is permitted on Christmas Day.

On Sundays a maximum of four movements (a movement is a take-off or a landing) by aeroplanes is permitted prior to 10 am and also a maximum of four movements by aeroplanes is permitted after 8pm.
