When flying at Fairoaks to or from an airfield outside of England, Scotland and Wales the following apply.

Provided that the email is sent in time to meet the above notice periods the requirements to notify the Borders Agency and Special Branch can be met by completing a General Aviation Report and emailing it to the tower (see Contact Us), whether or not the tower is open, as long as the subject of the email is of the form:-

General Aviation Report – CTA – Registration – Date
e.g. General Aviation Report – CTA – GABCD – 18/08/16

for flights to or from the Common Travel Area (CTA) which comprises the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and both Northern and Southern Ireland

or

General Aviation Report – Registration – Date
e.g. General Aviation Report – GABCD – 18/08/16

for all other flights.

The requirements of the other airfield must also be complied with.
